This line of Mmats amps is a huge success in my eyes, as it has always been. I own 2 of the HD4000.1’s and I can’t begin to explain the capabilities of these amps! With voltage dropping to 12.2v and rise jumping to 2.1 ohms, I was clamping 3800w out of each of them. When you look at the power rating given at 2 ohm, this is above and beyond what I expected out of them. Well worth the money!

I DO NOT UNDERSTAND why all the competitors seem to rush to other companies with cookie cutter boards which are being built by people who have no passion for mobile audio and are only out for money. It is so foolish. Please support these guys (MMATS) and run their equipment with pride. I ran their equipment back in the 1990’s and have nothing but praise. I have some retro gear I plan to resurrect and a big poster I had made back then in my garage that says “Powered by MMATS, Caution High Current” back when they were handling 1/2 ohm (D50HC) and others would overheat at 4 ohms. If I decide that the retro gear isn’t cutting it and decide to go all out SPL WATCH OUT, it’s going to be Team MMATS Juggs in a 6th order configuration and one 4000.1 per coil with lithium power. Anyone with any questions just google John Henry of Metro Audio Dynamics. He broke 180dB with 24 MMATS D300HC’s and 12 Juggernauts 2 decades ago and they disqualified him for it 🙂
